BIRDS OF PREY
Great Horned Owl photo Barred Owl Crested Caracara

The Birds of Prey exhibit at Bear Creek Pioneers Park Wildlife Habitat is home to wild birds.  Pictured is a barred owl, a crested caracara, a great horned owl, a red tail hawk and a rough legged hawk.  The birds housed at Bear Creek Pioneers Park have been injured and would not survive in the wild.  They are considered non-releasable by Texas Parks and Wildlife.  Birds of prey eat live food.
