| The City of Houston bought this 13 acre
tract from former Houston Mayor Roy Hofheinz in 1958 when the residential
developments in this part of Spring Branch were new. The city
created Nob Hill Park and maintained it until February of 2003 when the
city and county agreed on a lease arrangement transferring responsibility
for operating and maintaining the park to Harris County.
The Precinct Three Parks Department has installed
new playground equipment, improved the walking trail, and planted a number
of new trees. |
