  • Dr. George Magner 1927-2005 (Professor and Senior Vice President Emeritus of Social Work; Academy of Certified Social Workers; former Interim President of the University of Houston and Interim Vice Chancellor of the University of Houston System) He provided key expert advice on educational needs of seniors, program design, research, and resources during the initial development of the program.  He was an on-going source of advice, counsel, and inspiration for Precinct Three staff.  He will be missed.
