Registration for Basic Computer Skills Classes and Non-Computer Specialized Courses

Applicants must BRING AN OFFICIAL PHOTO IDENTIFICATION and MUST REGISTER IN PERSON at their location of choice during the registration periods.

Classes are free. However, ONLY Harris County residents aged 55 or older may register.
The Senior Education Program periodically offers open enrollment seminars and special events. Information on these activities are posted on our web based activity calendar, Precinct 3 community center bulletin boards, and publicized through local newspapers.

Tutorial and Practice Lab Sessions
Lab sessions are held subject to availability of staff or trained volunteer instructors.
Lab assistance is available for current SEC students and SEC graduates ONLY and conducted by reservation only.

Volunteer Institute
All SEC volunteers are eligible to attend our annual Volunteer Institute. The Institute is taught at the Senior Education Center and may include a field trip to a local educational institution or college. Attendees participate in small group exercises and lectures that help make learning exciting for the volunteers and the students they teach at the SEC. The activity is free but is limited to SEC volunteers.
