| Due to the overwhelming demand for Senior Education Center courses as well as external requirements placed on the operation of the Center, special application processes have been developed to fairly and efficiently assign prospective students to classes. |
-
Eligible senior citizens must apply in person for a Senior Education Center course during special application periods. When application periods are scheduled, announcements will be posted in Precinct Three community centers, released to area newspapers and posted on the Senior Education Program activities calendar.
-
Consistent with the County Attorney's Office guidelines, eligible applicants are assigned to classes on a random number basis.
-
Written notices will be sent to participants when they are scheduled for a course. The notice will include the dates and times of the course and a copy of the course rules and regulations.
-
Precinct Three reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class due to exigent circumstances or availability of facilities, instructors, or staff. |
