Volunteer Opportunities
FREE training, networking events, and field trips are available for seniors who volunteer at the Senior Education Center. All volunteers are eligible to attend free, "invitation only" events and specialized training conducted by the SEC.
CURRENT OPENINGS: Openings are available for primary computer instructors and teaching assistants.
Primary computer instructors must be familiar with personal computers and desktop applications. Previous teaching experience is desired but not required.
Computer Teaching Assistants should have at least a rudimentary knowledge of computers or have taken some form of basic or introductory computer class.
All volunteers are required to attend a free 1-day Instructor Orientation and Training session. Volunteers who complete the training and participate in three courses will receive a special certificate signed by Commissioner Radack.

Internship Opportunities
Precinct Three, in cooperation with the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work and the University of Houston Center on Public Policy, provides paid and unpaid internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students at the University.
